The IB programme (grade 11-12) is driven by the targets and requirements of the IB curriculum. This provides the framework, but there is room for differentiation. The student follows a programme but the reverse also applies: the programme is designed to respond to the individual needs of the student.
The student collects the tools he/she needs for the analysis and interpretation of a literary text. Dialogue and discussion with the tutor will help the student to reach the targets. After all, a literary text does not stand alone but challenges the student to ask questions and thus broaden his/her understanding of the world. The supervision takes place through written feedback and regular Skype sessions.
